Hi, I’m Mario
I build software products, mostly solo, with AI agents. This newsletter is me thinking out loud: what I’m building, what’s working and what broke on the way.
There’s a theme running through my posts: don’t handhold AI. Hand it over with guardrails and let it do the busywork while you create. Getting from an AI prototype to software you trust is the interesting part and where most of my writing lives. That means checking the agent’s work and recovering when it breaks.
Successes matter, but I make a point of naming the failures too — what shipped, what didn’t, what I’d do differently. Roughly one post per week.

I’m a decade-plus into building products — regulated health tech (HIPAA/CLIA), early-stage startups — and always up for collaborations. Reach out!
